Measurement of Your Head

There are specific requirements regarding the measurement of your head on the passport photo. The width of your head should be between 0.6 and 0.8 inches, measured from ear to ear.

Your face should be fully visible in the photo, but you can have facial hair. Beards, sideburns, or head scarf are allowed as long as they do not obstruct the overall size of the head. It is not necessary for the ears to be visible in the photo in order to determine the ear-to-ear measurement.
