Official passport photos have specific visibility and quality guidelines to ensure that the photo accurately represents the applicant without any distractions or obstructions.

• Face Visibility: The applicant's full face must be visible and facing forward. Profiles or angled views are not acceptable.
• Expression: A neutral expression is required, with both eyes open and mouth closed. Smiling or frowning can distort facial features, so these are usually not permitted.
• Eyes: The eyes should be clearly visible, not covered by hair or eyeglass frames. Reflections on glasses can also be a problem, so it's recommended to remove glasses if possible.
